Dear Brothers and Co-Workers,
Please read this whole thing before you are tempted to throw it away. The Moose fraternity has come up with a new way to insure the existence of Mooseheart and Moosehaven. The idea is simple, asking each member to donate ten ($0.10) cents a day, a nickel in the morning and a nickel at night, for five years. This totals to $36.50 a year equaling $182.50 over the five year period.
Those who are not true Moose members will say this is not their problem and may not wish to participate. WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! This program should be looked at as an opportunity to be the greatest generation ever in the history of the Moose fraternity. You can participate in this most noble project and be remembered in the same class as those Moose Legionnaires who conceived the “penny fund” which raised the first endowment fund of $1,000,000 allowing the purchase and development of Mooseheart.
You and I have an opportunity to help nourish our dream and provide the dollars to continue to make that dream come true. If each member donates $182.50, that will be $182,500,000. With this money in interest bearing accounts, this will insure the survival of our two great institutions. It is where our mark will be felt in the lives of our young and seniors.
Therefore, I ask you to sincerely consider being one of the members who for the next 100 years of operation will allow future generations of children at Mooseheart and the seniors at Moosehaven to say this was the Moose fraternity’s finest hour, and its finest members stood up and led the way. And remember this is a tax deductible donation.
